टूर के स्थगित होने के पीछे के कारण
भारतीय एवं बांग्लादेशी क्रिकेट बोर्डों ने मिलकर यह घोषणा की है कि भारत का बांग्लादेश दौरा अब अगस्त 2025 में नहीं, बल्कि सितंबर 2026 में होगा। मूल रूप से इस दौरे में तीन वनडे और तीन टी‑20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैच शामिल थे, जो बांग्लादेश के मैदान पर पहली बार आयोजित होने वाला था। दोनों बोर्डों ने प्रेस रिलीज़ में कहा कि यह कदम कई महीनों तक चलने वाली चर्चाओं के बाद लिया गया।
पहला बड़ा कारण अंतरराष्ट्रीय कैलेंडर की जटिलता है। 2025‑26 सीज़न में भारत को कई टूर, विश्व कप क्वालिफाइंग और भारतीय प्रीमियर लीग (IPL) के बाद के इवेंट्स का समन्वय करना है। साथ ही बांग्लादेश को भी अपने गृह सीज़न में अन्य टीमों के साथ मिलते‑जुलते मैचों को समायोजित करना है। दोनों पक्षों ने कहा कि नई तिथि दोनों टीमों की तैयारियों और खिलाड़ियों के आराम को ध्यान में रखकर तय की गई है।
बांग्लादेश क्रिकेट टूर को स्थगित करने के पीछे सुरक्षा कारण भी प्रमुख रहे। पिछले कुछ महीनों में बांग्लादेश में राजनीतिक उथल‑पुथल, अल्पसंख्यकों पर हमले और आतंकवादी गतिविधियों में बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। ऐसे माहौल में बड़े अंतरराष्ट्रीय इवेंट्स की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना चुनौतीपूर्ण हो जाता है। BCCI ने अपने खिलाड़ियों और स्टाफ की सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता देते हुए इस कदम को उचित बताया।
आर्थिक व सुरक्षा प्रभाव
इस टूर को स्थगित करने से बांग्लादेश को आर्थिक नुकसान उठाना पड़ेगा। भारत के साथ बड़े‑पैमाने पर होने वाले क्रिकेट मैचों से प्रसारण अधिकारों, विज्ञापन राजस्व और पर्यटन से काफी आय होती है। पहले से ही BCB ने मीडिया अधिकारों की बिक्री को रोक दिया था, जो संभावित समस्याओं का संकेत था। अब नई तिथि तय होने तक बांग्लादेश को इस आय से वंचित रहना पड़ेगा।
दूसरी ओर, सुरक्षा के पहलू से यह निर्णय समझदार माना जा रहा है। बेहतर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और स्थिर राजनीतिक माहौल के बिना बड़े स्टेडियम में भीड़ को सुरक्षित रखना कठिन होता है। स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने भी कहा कि वे 2026 तक स्थिति को स्थिर करने की पूरी कोशिश करेंगे, जिससे दोनों देशों के खेल संबंधों पर दीर्घकालिक असर न पड़े।
भविष्य में दोनों बोर्डों ने कहा कि वे नियोजित मैचों को फिर से निर्धारित करने के लिए मिलकर काम करेंगे। BCB ने आशा जताई कि 2026 में भारतीय टीम को बांग्लादेश में स्वागत करने का अवसर फिर मिलेगा। वहीं BCCI ने अपने कैलेंडर में इस टूर को शामिल कर दिया है, जिससे खिलाड़ियों के लिए यात्रा की योजना साफ़ हो गई है।
